Communications and CAD data information.We attempt to make sending and or receiving data to Michigan Gage as painless and convenient as possible within security considerations that Michigan Gage adheres to, and many of our customers mandate. The security and integrity or our customer's data is a consideration we take seriously. To that end. Please review this page carefully. MGM has access to Chrysler's VPM system. (Part numbers required to retrieve). MGM has access to Chrysler CAD Exchange (CCX) within Autoweb. MGM has access to General Motors CAD Exchange (GCX) within Autoweb. MGM has access to Automotive File Exchange (AFXi) within Autoweb. We maintain our own site (Not FTP) for sending and receiving data using service from My Docs Online (MDO). All data sent or received from the site is secure in that the site uses Secure Socket Layering (SSL) during the data transfer provided through encryption within your browser. There's no Logon ID and or Password required to use a link to our account on (MDO). It would be very convenient to provide a link to the site here right here. However, security concerns over Customers Only, having use of the link will not allow the link to be published here. Note that most FTP sites are not secure in that they have no encryption taking place during the actual electronic transfer. My Docs Online (MDO) provides both security in data transfer along with ease of use and convenience for our customers. If you care to email me at roggie@mich.com or roggie@michigangage.com with a request for the link to our site, I'll promptly make it available to you or your company. If you'll save the link. The link can be used for future data transfer activity. Once the link has been provided. Please don't forward the link to anyone via email. Abuse of the link would force me to have it changed. We will accept data via email. However, email server size constraints and security concerns, concerning our customers data dictate it's not the best method of data transfer. If you or your company would prefer I can take data via your companies site. Site addresses, Logon IDs, and Passwords will not be lost and stored with the utmost considerations of encryption and security. I have access to many of our customer's sites which have been provided over the years. Considerations should be given to compressing data prior to sending it to us. Generally speaking, a time savings can be realized in the upload and download process if the data is compressed prior to sending. We normally compress any data of size prior to sending to our customers. We can extract data from most of the popular compression software packages. WinZip, WinRar, compress, gzip, etc. All of our customer's request to send and or receive data will be honored and expedited in a timely fashion. In the last 15 years, we've not yet lost a single piece of our customer's data. Your data, both product and design, will be stored securely in multiple copies on site, in our separate servers. To assure data integrity additional copies will be routinely taken offsite for an additional measure of security. All data that is coming into or leaving Michigan Gage is electronically logged and tracked within our various systems. This information is invaluable to the departments within our company. This system additionally allows us to easily honor requests from our customers to retrieve and return product data they've previously sent us. Data types to send can include:
